TOOWOOMBA LIZARD REHABILITATION CENTRE
Judi Gray from Toowoomba Koala and Wildlife Rescue specialises in Lizard Rehabiliation and Rescue and has been permitted to rehabilitate lizards since 2006. Judi trained under a specialised lizard carer and also owned her own pet bearded dragons for many years prior to becoming a wildlife carer. She has also completed a variety of courses and continues to mentor with experienced reptile vets, carers and reptile rescuers.
Lizards require specific care for their species and we work closely with experienced reptile vets to ensure the best care and medical treatment is given to every animal. Lizards can require rehabilitation for a variety of reasons which include dog and cat attack, car trauma, accidental injury to name a few. Some of the species we care for include, but are not limited to, Bearded Dragon, Blue-tongued Skink, Eastern Water Dragon, Shingleback Lizard, Cunningham Skink and all skink species, geckoes and more.
We also offer a lizard re-location service for lizards under-threat from domestic pet attack and are fully licenced to offer this service. Donation to T.K.W.R appreciated for reptile relocations. Please contact us for further information.

DOMESTIC LIZARD RE-HOMING SERVICE
We love lizards and as such are owners of a variety of pet lizard & python species and hold a Recreational Wildlife Licence. All of the domestic lizard pets that we own, are 'rescue pets' who have been transferred to our care after their previous owners could no longer look after them.
If you find that you can no longer care for your pet lizard, please contact us to discuss re-homing options. Your reptile will need to be registered on your wildlife recreational licence and transfer of ownership will be required. We can ensure that your lizard will receive excellent care and we will protect your privacy and any surrender reptile case will be treated with full discretion. We can assist with finding suitable placement with an experienced reptile owner, or within our own facilities.
All domestic lizards that come into our care will be quarantined and receive medical and veterinary care where required.
Please contact us to discuss.
