TOOWOOMBA KOALA & WILDLIFE RESCUE
Un-incorporated non-profit organisation. ABN: 88217062611
Volunteer Koala and Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation in the Greater Toowoomba Region since 2006.
We specialise in Koala rescue and work in with Vets and Wildlife Hospitals and the RSPCA Wildlife Rescue Ambulance, The Qld Department of Environment & Science, and other specialist local wildlife carers in our network to ensure that all koalas and wildlife receive immediate medical attention, treatment and then rehabilitation with the best carer for that particular species.
We are a small team with a large network of experienced wildlife carers and rescuers for a variety of different species across South-East Queensland and we have built up this network of trusted contacts over many years working in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and are proud to have such a strong network of licenced dedicated wildlife rehabilitators.
We also hold Specialist Species Koala and wildlife rehabilitation permits and facilities on our own property to continue the care of any sick, injured orphaned or wildlife until it can be released back to the wild.
We continue to regularly update our skills and certifications by working with some of the most experienced wildlife rehabilitator mentors, wildlife groups and wildlife vets, to continue our training and knowledge.
